Nominations
and Elections Update

Continuing
with the previous years’ format, the elections for WPS officers will
take place on Saturday morning of the Annual Spring Educational Meeting.
Ballots will be handed out to Class A members when they sign-in
on Saturday morning. I
would like to have all the candidates introduce themselves and say a few
words. But in the interest
of time, anyone who is an incumbent and running unopposed will only be
announced. All new
candidates and their contenders will be given an opportunity to speak to
the membership in the morning session.
Voting
will be concluded when the ballot box is emptied at the end of the
morning session. So make
sure you cast your vote before the end of the morning session.
Election results will be announced during the Saturday afternoon
session.
A
sample ballot with a proxy will be included in the hard copy mailing of
the meeting packet approximately one month prior to March 10.

Nominations
are still being accepted. They
must be post-marked by March 1, 2001, in order for your name to appear
on the ballot. All
nominations received after that date will be considered a Write
