From the Editor's Desk - Reaction Times Vol. 6(2)

I am pleased to be able to announce, at this time, the appointment of a new editor for the newsletter, Reaction Times. Eric Rauch, CCP has been a perfusionist at Gundersen Lutheran Heart Institute for the past year and a half. He came to us from the perfusion program at the University of Nebraska. I congratulate Eric on this endeavor and am confident that he will do a wonderful job.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the golf outing to be held at Trapper’s Turn golf course. The date is set for September 30th with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. Dinner will follow at 7:00 pm. This promises to be a lot of fun as well as an opportunity for the legislative committee to make a presentation regarding our licensure efforts. We plan to have our lobbyist on hand to give a short presentation as well as Michael Gough, the chairman of the Legislative Committee. Please plan on attending. If you have not recieved an entry form, they are available from either myself or Suzanne Schaller.
