Announcements Wisconsin Perfusion Society Golf Outing by Terry Barnes, CCP   I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the golf outing held at Trapper’s Turn Golf Course in the Wisconsin Dells on September 30th.  The weather was perfect for a round of golf and, I believe, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.  Hole prizes were awarded later in the evening following dinner as well as a prize for the team with the best score, best coed score and the team with the worst score.    The purpose of this golf outing was to raise funds for the legislative fund.  Thanks to the generosity of corporate sponsorship as well as the participants themselves we were able to raise approximately $1100.00 for upcoming legislative efforts.  I was even given a generous donation by an individual who was not able to attend but wanted to support her fellow perfusionists in this effort.   I would also be remiss if I didn’t take the time to thank Mike Gough, the chairman of the legislative committee.  Mike gave a wonderful presentation on what is to be expected in the months following the November elections.  Mike was also responsible for having our lobbyist, Jim Tenuta, on hand to answer questions and to give his input on the road ahead.    In closing, I would like to suggest that perhaps this could be an annual event.  The WPS is always in need of funds for assorted committees.  I can’t think of a better way to support your society than to trounce a collegue on the golf course.
