President's Message

I hope you all will take the time to look over the minutes of our Board meeting held on Sept.14, 2002. As was discussed at our business meeting in April we have worked to lower our dues.  Class A dues will now be will be $75.00 per year, and Class C dues will be $55.00 per year. Class B & R dues will remain the same. In addition to dues, we discussed and past a proposal from Ron Nichols for recognizing our Class C members.

The spring meeting will be held at the Kalahari in the Wisconsin Dells. David Malkow the program director is hoping that this location will result in a larger representation of speakers from around the state. Please contact David if you have an interest in presenting at next years meeting.

I would like to congratulate David Hellenbrand, Matthew Hietpas, Janet Sisul and Dr. Dudley Johnson, on their appointments to the Perfusion Examining Council. They also need to be thanked for making a commitment of time and energy. Please read the overview of their first meeting on the following pages.

In closing I would like to thank Suzanne Garlie and Terry Barnes for once again doing a great job with the WPS Golf Outing.  Although we had some rain to contend with for most of the day, everyone had a great time.
