Michael Gough, BS, CCP, LP
Graduated from MSOE in 1991 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and completed the Certificate in Perfusion program that same year. He has been a clinical perfusionist with Infinity Heart Institute since that time. He also is an associate professor at MSOE as well as a clinical instructor for the M.S. in Perfusion program. Michael was elected WPS President in 2004 and serves on the nominations/ elections committee and chairs the legislative task force.

David Malkow, BS, CCP, LP
David graduated from Barry University in 1994.  He worked for a private contract group in Illinois before joining St Mary’s Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin, in July of 1996.  David has been a member of the Wisconsin Perfusion Society since 1996.  He has functioned as the Membership Committee Chair for the Society since 2000.

Scott Brown, MS, CCP, LP
Scott graduated from MSOE in 1998 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and went on to gain his Masters in Perfusion from MSOE in 2000.  He is currently employed by Midwest Heart Surgery Institute in Milwaukee.  Scott was elected treasurer in 2002.

Suzanne Garlie, MS, CCP, LP
Suzanne graduated with her B.S. from UW Madison and went on to gain her M.S. in perfusion in 1999. She is currently employed by Cariovascular Surgery Associates in Milwaukee. Suzanne was elected secretary at the 1999 WPS Spring Educational Meeting.

Nicole Michaud, MS, CCP, LP
Nicole graduated from MSOE in 1994 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and went on to gain her M.S. in Perfusion from MSOE in 1996.  She is currently employed as Lead Perfusionist at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay , Wisconsin .  Nicole chairs the WPS Essay Scholarship Committee and has been a member of the WPS since 1997.

Thomas Steffens BS, CCP, LP 

Tom has been a perfusionist for over 20 years and a 1984 graduate of MSOE in Biomedical Engineering Technology and Perfusion.  Tom was employed as a perfusionist in Michigan for 15 years and involved in both adult and pediatric heart procedures.  Tom joined the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in 1999 as the Chief Perfusionist and was instrumental in organizing the ECMO program.  He has also obtained a Capstone Certificate in Clinical Research at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  He has been a member of WPS since 1997.
