LeRoy H. Ferries Award

​This is the most prestigious award that the WPS can bestow on an actively employed perfusionist that is a Class A member of WPS. This award is given annually to one individual that has made a contribution to the advancement of the perfusion community in the state of Wisconsin. As a condition of this award, the winner must give an oral presentation of their choice at the annual WPS Spring Meeting. Former recipients are not eligible for this award.

William P. Young Award

This award will be given out annually to an individual that has demonstrated a long term working relationship with the perfusion community in the state of Wisconsin. As a condition of this award, the winner must give an oral presentation of their choice at the annual WPS Spring Meeting. The only stipulation is this presentation must cover some facet of cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, or perfusion.

Ronald D. Nichols Award of Merit

This award will be given to an individual that has accomplished something of a “special nature” that has benefited the WPS, perfusion in the state of Wisconsin, or the patients that are served in the state. There is no formula or limit to this award. Active membership in WPS or employment in the field of perfusion is not required to qualify for this award.

James W. Cooksey Award

This award will be given to a Class C member of WPS who has demonstrated a kinship with WPS through membership and/or by the presentations of materials at our annual Spring Meeting. As a condition of this award, the winner must give an oral presentation of their choice at the annual WPS Spring Meeting.
